About the position

The Director of Retention is responsible for driving growth and revenue for the Email/SMS/Auto Replenishment and our loyalty program for US, Canada and Australia/New Zealand. This role is strategic, executional, and analytical. You will be empowered to drive new ways of providing value to our customers that are personalized and served at the most relevant time with the goal of building strong relationships with Paula’s Choice customers.

Responsibilities

  • Drive growth and revenue for Email/SMS/Auto Replenishment and loyalty program.
  • Develop and execute retention marketing strategies.
  • Analyze campaign and customer segmentation performance.
  • Identify opportunities for personalized customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with data analysts/scientists to test audience segments.
  • Report on KPI metrics via GA and ESPs.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of retention marketing experience, primarily in email.
  • 3+ years of experience in text/SMS marketing.
  • Direct responsibility for at least $50M+ in retention revenue.
  • Experience in a digital first company.
  • Strong analytical skills for campaign performance analysis.
  • Strategic thinking and planning capability.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Advanced understanding of email strategy and engagement metrics.
  • Proven experience in attribution modeling and AI data usage.
  • Hands-on experience managing a top revenue driving channel.
