About the position

The Product Manager for High-Performance Quantum Machines will serve as the owner of the product line, leading its lifecycle from concept to commercialization. This role bridges technical expertise with market insights to deliver quantum computing solutions tailored to customer needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring that our products not only meet but exceed market expectations while maintaining alignment with QCi’s strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product lifecycle, including roadmap development, market introduction, and ongoing optimization.
  • Identify and prioritize market needs through customer engagement, competitive analysis, and emerging trends to define product specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to translate market needs into detailed product specifications, ensuring performance and quality standards are met.
  • Ensure alignment of product performance with content requirements, balancing technical feasibility and customer expectations.
  • Develop and execute strategies to bring quantum products to market, including go-to-market plans, customer training, and performance feedback loops.
  • Act as a primary external-facing representative of QCi’s product portfolio, engaging with customers to gather insights, provide solutions, and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Work closely with engineering, marketing, business development, and leadership to drive innovation and ensure seamless product delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in physics, engineering, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in product management, ideally in quantum computing, photonics, or advanced hardware systems.
  • Proven track record of leading products from concept to commercialization in a high-tech environment.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive results in a collaborative environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with quantum technologies, advanced electronics, or nanophotonics.
  • Experience working in agile environments with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
