About the position

We’re looking for a Director of Product Marketing to own Torq’s positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy. In this role, you will lead a growing team of product marketers and work closely with Product, Sales, and Enablement to shape roadmap priorities, launch new capabilities, and define how the world understands Torq. You will translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with buyers, from SOC analysts to CISOs, and help drive alignment across the business. If you are a strategic storyteller with deep technical fluency, a strong operator with go-to-market instincts, and a collaborative leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, this is a unique opportunity to help build and scale the next category-defining security platform.

Responsibilities

  • Own positioning, messaging, and storytelling across products, personas, and verticals.
  • Build and lead a high-performing product marketing team.
  • Partner closely with Product, Sales, and Enablement to shape roadmap prioritization and ensure launches are tightly aligned to market needs.
  • Drive go-to-market strategy for product and feature launches – from positioning to internal enablement to external campaigns.
  • Define and evolve Torq’s category in cybersecurity and agentic AI, establishing clear narrative leadership.
  • Oversee the development of high-impact content, including web presence, sales decks, case studies, analyst reports, and executive narratives.
  • Translate market trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence into actionable GTM strategies and differentiated messaging.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of product marketing experience, including 5+ years in cybersecurity or complex, enterprise B2B SaaS.
  • Proven ability to craft positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies that drive pipeline, accelerate deals, and elevate brand perception.
  • A track record of launching successful products and features in fast-moving, high-growth environments.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, or managing other marketers and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of security buyers, from SOC analysts to CISOs, and an understanding of the enterprise buying cycle.
  • A strong partnership mindset, with a history of collaborating closely with Product, Sales, and Enablement teams.
  • Outstanding communication and storytelling skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence across teams.
  • A bias for action, comfort with ambiguity, and passion for building.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with category creation, PLG motions, or AI-powered products.

Benefits

  • Attractive coverage of Private and family healthcare plans.
  • Comprehensive life and disability insurance.
  • Equity in options.
  • Company-sponsored 401K matching.
  • Individualized career development, rewards and recognition.
  • Flexible hybrid work.
  • Phone and home Internet allowance.
