Flipboard is looking for a senior marketer or growth expert to lead our consumer and performance marketing initiatives, focusing on driving both reader growth and retention through relevant and innovative programs and communications. This is a high impact role within the company, responsible for establishing and reporting on key audiences within our existing user base and building out entirely new programs to gain and retain loyal Flipboard users.This position will provide leadership and strategy, working cross functionally to help build out communication systems and programs that drive toward our larger company goals.
What are we looking for in a successful candidate?

Experience developing and driving large scale integrated marketing campaigns, taking advantage of multiple channels to meet business objectives.

A proven track record building and managing teams, budgets and remote agencies and contractors.
*
Experience working cross functionally across multiple teams and communicating with executive level staff.
*
A deep understanding of mobile and web technologies and companies.
*
Data driven and able to distill meaning from multiple sources of data to inform your business and /or marketing decisions.
*
A passion for understanding users, developing strategies and developing targeted campaigns for different audiences with different motivations.
*
Experience building out SEO and SEM strategies and programs for a large consumer website.
*
Experience managing email marketing programs, a deep knowledge of email best practices and CANSPAM regulations.
*
Knowledge of and/or experience with App Store optimization techniques and best practices.
*
Experience with mobile and web advertising, including Facebook and Twitter ads.
*
Experience conceptualizing, executing and optimizing complex paid media acquisition campaigns.
*
A strong background in adtracking/attribution tools and ad optimization.
*
Experience with organizational tools and calendars and a drive to create processes that simplify workflows and benefit the overall business.
*
Experience and passion for analytics and tools like Google Analytics and SQL.
*
Excellent communication and writing skills.
*
A proven track record in using data to inform your business and /or marketing decisions
