About the Community:
The Heritage at Hunters Chase (the Community") is a substantial renovation and repositioning about to commence in N. Austin at 12151 Hunters Chase Drive, Austin, TX 78729. The Community is currently known as Ashwood Retirement & Assisted Living and will be repositioned with substantial investment into an all private-pay, market-rate assisted living with memory care. About the Position:
We are currently looking for a Director of Sales & Marketing to join our team at the repositioned The Heritage at Hunters Chase located at Highway 183 and Hunters Chase Drive in N. Austin. The Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for lead generation and management, conducting presentations, closing sales, and meeting monthly occupancy and revenue goals. Start date is October 2016.

Job Requirements
About You:
Primary Responsibilities

* With direction from Surpass Senior Living corporate team, develop and execute the overall marketing and sales plan for the community;
* increase and maintain occupancy levels and revenue production of the community;
* Generate and maintain sales leads;
* Effectively communicating with referral sources and leads on the telephone.
* Complete presentations and tours with prospective families/residents and subsequently close sales;
* Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and professional referral sources in the area;Record all sales and marketing activity in computer lead management software platform and submit reports to the Executive Director and Surpass Senior Living corporate office;
* Responds to new inquiries (phone ins, walk ins, emails, mail ins) promptly and phone-ins and walk-ins immediately, and email-ins and mail-ins within 24 hours;
* Work with community leaders and Surpass Senior Living corporate office to develop and coordinate large activities and events for professional referral sources and families of prospective residents;
* Coordinate community advertising with Surpass Senior Living corporate team;
* Serve as manager on duty at the community as assigned;
* Provide oversight of and sales training to all community associates;
* Attends daily stand-up and informs community team members of daily appointments, events, and advertising. Completes a daily sales report and distributes to community and corporate team; and
* Perform any other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

Skills/Requirements

* 1+ years of successful sales experience in the senior housing industry;
* Working knowledge of sales and marketing concepts to include principles and methods for promoting, and selling products and/or services;
* Understanding of marketing strategy and tactics, sales techniques, and sales systems;
* Experience and training in consultative selling skills is highly preferred;
* Working knowledge of personal computers and software to include Microsoft Office, lead management software and Skype;
* Must have the ability to work well under stress, complete assignments accurately, work independently, and manage time effectively;
* High degree of initiative and creativity, good judgment, and professional ethics;
* Professional communication skills and the ability to motivate and develop peers;
* Strong management skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting;
* Flexibility to work extra hours and/or be on call during off hours, work weekends and evenings.
