The position involves various responsibilities primarily focused on maintaining cleanliness and order in the kitchen environment. The role requires washing dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand, and placing clean items in designated storage areas. The individual will also be responsible for maintaining kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly condition, sweeping and mopping floors, emptying trash, and ensuring overall cleanliness and safety in the kitchen area. Additional duties include sorting and removing trash, ensuring compliance with sanitation regulations and food safety guidelines, assisting with unloading and storing deliveries, and performing other kitchen duties as assigned by the culinary team or supervisor.
