Responsibilities

  • Assist in full-funnel campaign strategy and execution across key retailer platforms (Amazon Search and DSP, Walmart Connect, Instacart, Criteo, etc.).
  • Manage and optimize campaigns across all placements within various retail media networks.
  • Serve as an internal expert and primary point of contact for assigned retail media advertising platforms and their evolving capabilities.
  • Analyze customer journeys and implement targeting strategies such as retargeting, brand defense, conquesting, and promotional layering.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Shopper Marketing, Creative) to align media execution with promotional calendars and in-store activities.
  • Assist in training internal teams on platform best practices, new features, and industry trends.
  • Monitor campaign pacing, delivery, and KPIs daily — adjusting bids, budgets, and targeting in real time to maximize performance.
  • Build monthly and quarterly performance review decks for leadership.
  • Lead deep-dive analyses into ad performance across channels, surfacing actionable insights and data-driven recommendations.
  • Leverage platform-specific data to analyze and continuously refine ad strategy.
  • Implement A/B testing methodologies to evaluate creative, audience segments, and keyword performance.
  • Assist with end-of-month metric aggregation for key retail media accounts.
  • Coordinate with Creative team on asset development tailored to platform specifications – leverage Basecamp for internal creative and ad copy requests.
  • Request and refresh creative assets based on promotional cycles and campaign objectives.
  • Manage advertising budgets across multiple platforms — ensuring pacing aligns with monthly and quarterly plans.
  • Assist with PO creation, invoice processing (via Esker), and reconciliation against spend trackers.
  • Maintain and update internal budget tracking files.

Requirements

  • 1–2+ years of direct hands-on-key experience managing campaigns in retail media platforms (Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Criteo, Instacart, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce advertising, performance marketing metrics, and digital media buying.
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, data modeling); Experience with PowerBi, or similar tools a plus.
  • Experience with omni-channel ad tools a plus (i.e. Skai, Pacvue, etc.).
  • Proven ability to analyze large datasets, translate insights into action, and present to cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with PO management, invoicing platforms (e.g., Esker), and financial reconciliation processes a plus.
  • Highly organized, with excellent time management, prioritization, and communication skills.
  • Self-starter comfortable operating in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
  • Exposure to omnichannel marketing strategies (linking in-store and online campaigns).
  • CPG or beverage industry background.
