About The Position

About you and the role: The position of Standby EMT is a PRN position operating under the Emergency Response Division and will provide medical standby service for various clients of BPM. The provider will be issued a vehicle and necessary medical equipment. Work Schedule: No specific hourly schedule What you will do: Regular Job Duties Under the supervision of EMS Response, you are responsible for: Emergency Medical care of participants and or spectators of the event as needed Arranging patient transfer with local EMS if patient transfer is needed Complete documentation on patients using Best Practice Medicine PCRs Additional duties as assigned by the GM of Emergency Response

Requirements

• NREMT
• AHA BLS
• EMS State License
• Must be able to carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to lift items weighing up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to speak clearly in small group settings.
• Ability to follow simple and complex written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of experience EMS
