About the position
Developer Experience and Runtime (DXR) aims to enhance the productivity and efficiency of engineers, accelerate the adoption of container runtimes, and harness AI technologies to empower engineers, in order to deliver a holistic developer experience. Application Development Platform provides tools, including AI solutions for developers, and platforms to build and operate cloud-native solutions, APIs, and web & mobile apps, with a focus on measuring and improving developer productivity. SDLC Engineering delivers a modern, secure, and highly available environment for source control, code review, build, test, software distribution, and production activation. SecDb Platform provides long-term support and consultancy for the firm's strategic trading, pricing, and risk management system, SecDb. Runtime Platform consists of scalable, highly available, and efficient platforms and services for job scheduling, grid computing, Compute-as-a-Service, containerization, and file transfer. We are looking for an experienced senior programme manager who will maintain close relationships with our users and engineering teams. We are continuing our journey focusing on applying a product mentality to the way we build our products and ensure that we focus on our clients and their needs to build the right product at the right time. We adopt the most appropriate approach to drive the firm and our clients towards desired growth. We want to apply the same approach to the way we build products and deliver customer-centric, best-in-class products.
Responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally to guide programs from conception through launch, growth and maturity.
- Connect different technical worlds to meet customer needs.
- Break down complex problems into steps that drive product development and release adopting the principles of growth from MVP / PoC.
- Lead projects involving various businesses and entities within the firm.
- Work with various teams in Technology, Securities, IMD, IBD, Technology Risk, Compliance and Internal Audit.
- Manage the program end to end lifecycle from concept to design, PoC, testing, support and finally product end of life.
- Prioritize while balancing the needs of customers and stakeholders.
- Manage the initiation, planning, execution, monitor/control, and close out of workstreams.
Requirements
- STEM degree and equivalent practical experience building/shipping technical programs.
- 12+ years of technical program delivery experience, including experience driving the product vision, design, and go-to-market strategy.
- Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex problems and technical solutions to all stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success collaborating with design and engineering peers.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional technical teams.
- Demonstrated experience in understanding the customer, product development, requirements analysis, planning and program strategy.
- Experience managing client expectations and communicating effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to translate business requirements into a product roadmap.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Highly organized, attention to detail and excellent follow through skills.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
