About the position

The position involves sampling and assessments of soil, groundwater, air, and other materials. You will be responsible for observing and documenting field activities, using field screening equipment, and documenting readings. Daily interactions and communications with contractors, technicians, and project managers are essential. Additionally, you will be required to write clear field reports of site activities each day.

Requirements

  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in Civil Engineering with an environmental focus, Geology, Environmental Science or related degree
  • Interest in environmental regulations and how environmental issues are related to the construction process
  • Must be able to provide suitable transportation for use on job sites
  • Position requires carrying 40 - 70 lbs multiple times a day or occasionally lifting 85 lbs to waist height
