About the position

The ERP Solutions Architect will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining QAD ERP solutions to support business processes across Procure to Pay, Order to Distribution, Manufacturing, and other core functionalities. This individual will be responsible for architecting solutions that minimize customizations and ensure proper integration with external systems, such as Bartender (labeling) and EDI.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and architecture of ERP solutions with a focus on minimal customizations and maximum integration.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document requirements and translate them into scalable architectures.
  • Ensure seamless integration of bolt-on systems, including Bartender (labeling) and EDI, with our ERP platform.
  • Develop and enforce ERP architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Conduct performance analysis and optimization of ERP environments.
  • Lead and mentor ERP Business Analysts and external vendors’ support staff to build internal expertise and ensure high-quality support.
  • Create technical and process workflows documentation and provide guidance on ERP system administration and maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues related to ERP functionality and integration.
  • Maintain knowledge of emerging ERP technologies and recommend enhancements or updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certification in QAD or related ERP systems.
  • 10-15 years of experience in QAD ERP implementation and architecture.
  • Demonstrated experience in Procure to Pay, Order to Distribution, and Manufacturing functionalities.
  • Strong integration experience with bolt-on systems like Bartender and EDI.
  • Proven vendor management experience for support and development services.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in medical devices or manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of IT project management practices and methodologies.
