About the position

The Field Service Specialist IV - IMAGING, provides specialty medical equipment services primarily on various high end Imaging equipment within assigned region. Primary duties include, but are not limited to, performing preventive maintenance inspections, installation support, testing, calibration, troubleshooting and maintenance on multiple high-end specialty imaging modalities (MRI, CT, Cath Lab, X-ray, Nuc-med) and on low end modalities (Ultrasound, injectors) as needed. This individual shall be competent in the use of all applicable test equipment and tools required in the performance of the duties and be able to teach and coach others as needed. The Field Service Specialist will ensure compliance with changes in regulations, policies and procedures set by national and state regulatory bodies. Responsible to ensure that all scheduled work is accomplished on time, customer needs are met, and the day-to-day operations impacting revenue are communicated as needed and appropriate resources are utilized to minimize any service interruptions. The position also has service support scheduling and vendor management responsibility. Individual shall be required to provide regional technical support for resolving difficult equipment issues. This individual contributes to department improvement and collaborates and maintains positive relationships with customers. Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections on imaging equipment.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in biomedical/electrical engineering technology or equivalent military education.
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience servicing diagnostic imaging equipment.
  • Formal certification of training in medium to high-end imaging modalities.
  • Working knowledge of Networking, PACS, and DICOM standards.
  • Knowledge of associated tools and test equipment.
  • Demonstrate mechanical diagnostic troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Willingness to cross-train other team members.
  • Familiarity with the Healthcare Industry.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
