A Financial Service Officer (FSO) will develop relationships, build trust, and maintain integrity with every contact, including Members, potential Members, and co-workers.

Responsibilities

  • Opening new accounts and performing account maintenance
  • Responding to inquiries and processing Member requests
  • Owning Member issues through resolution
  • Identifying Member needs and recommending product and service solutions to enhance financial well-being
  • Serve as back-up to Financial Service Representatives performing teller duties in a lobby and drive-thru

Requirements

  • Minimum of six months previous experience in a consultative sales position preferably from a financial institution with new account and general member service experience
  • Passion for building relationships and providing exceptional service
  • Ability to identify financial needs through effective communication (ability to listen, ask questions, and articulate response)
  • Ability to educate Members about and make referrals to LSCU products & services
  • Strong initiative and solution provider
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Proficient in utilizing PC, software, Microsoft Applications, and other office equipment
