Report to: VP of Franchise Development and the Director of Marketing & PR
FLSA: Exempt, Full time with 30% or more travel required
Job description:
* Support Director of Marketing & Public Relations in the execution of PizzaRev's proven marketing strategies in new markets across the country
* Serve as liaison between Marketing Representatives at PizzaRev's franchise locations and PizzaRev Corp. Marketing Team
* Conduct online and phone research to develop comprehensive databases of key contacts in local markets, including: media (editorial & advertising), community influencers, dignitaries, schools, sports leagues, and non-profits.
* Field ad hoc requests from franchisees, store managers and public relations firms for marketing materials.
* Monitor franchise locations Facebook pages and engaging with guests
* Travel among PizzaRev's franchise restaurants across the country to assist in market evaluations, training, New Restaurant Openings, and maintenance marketing
Minimum Qualifications:
* Two to three years of experience working in hands-on local store marketing -- this may include, but not limited to street team marketing, public relations, copy writing, advertising
* Energetic, comfortable and eager to engage with PizzaRev franchisees, their support teams, and community influencers-- this includes conversations in-person, via phone and online
* Proficient writing skills, specifically in email communication
* Effective communications skills and ability to follow directions
* Strong online research skills
* Proficient in social media practice and strategy across multiple platforms.
* Ability to speak clearly and comfortably in front of a group
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working within a franchise system and/or multi-unit restaurant group
* Associate's/Bachelor's Degree
* Passion for Marketing, Branding and Social Media platforms
* Innovator, Problem-Solver, and Creative Thinker
* Personally active on social media networks, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, with a finger on the pulse of online trends and lingo (you're always the first one to share the latest video trending online)
