About the position
Tryton TC is a specialized IT staffing firm connecting top-tier talent with leading organizations across industries, with a focus on healthcare, life sciences, and enterprise technology. All roles are W2 hourly positions with access to benefits, including health insurance. We are currently seeking a skilled Front-End Engineer with deep experience in React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frontend architecture. This role will involve working with APIs, deploying on cloud platforms, and leading best practices for scalable, accessible, and secure web applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain advanced web applications using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Build and integrate APIs (GraphQL and REST) for scalable service communication
- Deploy and manage services on Google Cloud Platform (GKE)
- Collaborate on CI/CD processes to ensure smooth integration and deployment workflows
- Guide the adoption of hybrid application tools like JxBrowser or similar
Requirements
- 5+ years of frontend development experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- 5+ years of experience promoting frontend best practices in a large-scale environment
- 2+ years of experience designing and implementing frontend testing strategies (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Playwright)
- 2+ years of experience working with CI/CD pipelines and workflows
Nice-to-haves
- Strong knowledge of frontend security practices (e.g., XSS prevention, secure cookies, CORS)
- Experience with JxBrowser or similar hybrid web application tools
- Strong knowledge of accessibility standards and responsive design
- Familiarity with microservice best practices and distributed systems
