About The Position
Sunbelt Supply is a global provider of flow control solutions. We maintain one of the largest and most diversified selections of valves, actuators, actuation accessories and specialty PFF in North America, comprised of more than 50 major manufacturers. We provide in-house valve automation services, including CAD design and drawings, machine, fabrication, assembly shops featuring CNC machinery, and automation repair work. Sunbelt Supply is a subsidiary of FloWorks International LLC, which is a privately held company located in Houston, Texas Job Information Operates in the field, on-call or provides technical support to assigned customers. Work in a leadsman role and or in a supervision position. Installs, configures, performs problem determination and maintains products and equipment at customer sites, following construction drawings, blueprints and manufacturer's instructions, utilizing product and technical knowledge of equipment. Repairs or coordinates repair of worn or defective products or equipment. Perform skilled, technical work in the design, installation, testing, calibration, maintenance, and repair for assigned product or process. Must be able to field and shop fuse up to 65” hdpe pipe and electrofusion couplings up to 24”.
Requirements
- 3-5 years experience
- HS Diploma or GED required. Specialized skills training/certification may be required
- Generally 2 - 5 years of experience in area of responsibility
- Must have a Class A CLD
- Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor/foreman
Responsibilities
- Provides expertise related to product implementation and continued service
- Provides technical solutions and design implementations for products and services
- Builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs and modifies equipment, parts, components and assemblies
- Analyzes and interprets test data
- Evaluates performance and reliability of materials
- Performs routine analysis and calculation and recommend changes
- Diagnoses and reports malfunctions
- Learns and understands particular technical equipment; attends training and completes certification as required
- Fill out JSA Safety forms and full fill all safety obligations to be compliant with plant safety rules and procedures
