Responsibilities

  • Maximize the value of the asset within key indications for peri-launch products.
  • Provide commercial guidance and vision, developing global launch strategies.
  • Anticipate lifecycle management opportunities to enhance customer experience and competitive position.
  • Optimize the impact of marketing budgets.
  • Work closely with Amgen’s program team, integrated brand team, and brand working group to integrate global cross-functional perspectives and local market insights.
  • Support broad strategic initiatives pertaining to the portfolio such as referral dynamics, tumor-level patient insights, and Patient Impact Expansion.
  • Gather deep insights into the customer, marketplace, competitors, and business drivers to develop a commercial strategy.
  • Ensure all marketing deliverables for assigned brands are on time and of expected quality.
  • Communicate commercial vision for disease-state and assigned brand.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree and 4 years of marketing experience OR Master’s degree and 7 years of marketing experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of marketing experience.
  • Strong experience in Oncology therapeutic area, and solid tumor immuno-oncology.
  • Experience developing and implementing innovative global marketing and commercial strategies for pipeline products.
  • Prior experience launching multiple products in diverse therapeutic areas.
  • Solid understanding of global market access, pricing and reimbursement issues.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • An MBA, coupled with a life sciences educational background.
  • 8+ years of experience in commercial roles in the biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience living and working outside the United States.
  • Experience supporting partnered assets/programs.
  • A scientifically curious mind.
