Cook Regentec is focused on the discovery, development and commercialization of innovative technologies in the emerging fields of regenerative medicine and cell therapy.
Cook Regentec is part of Cook Group and a sister company of Cook Medical, the worlds largest privately held medical manufacturing company.
The Global Product Manager will be responsible for identifying cell harvesting and biologics delivery product opportunities, and developing key relationships with physicians, researchers, and industry working in the regenerative medicine field, including cell and gene therapy.
Essential Job Functions/Duties
Advance messaging that Cook Regentec is dedicated to developing products and technology related to cell harvesting and biologics delivery.
Establish relationships with key opinion leaders and collaborative partners in the regenerative medicine field.
Establish relationships and identify collaborative opportunities with established Cook Medical business units.
Interface with physicians, researchers, industry, and product development team to identify needs and to obtain feedback on concepts and performance of new or existing products.
Provide customer support and physician training for current Cook Regentec products that are used in regenerative medicine procedures, and establish Cook products as an option for cell harvesting and/or biologics delivery in existing and future clinical trials.
Maintain market expertise through utilization of competitor product knowledge and strategies, market trends and dynamics, critical market success factors, and customer needs.
Define the product strategy and product road map for cell harvesting and biologics delivery devices.
Work closely with business development personnel to identify best practices to address key business challenges and opportunities
Minimum Work Experience/Educational Requirements
Must be highly motivated, goal oriented, and able to work independently.
Must be self-driven and highly pro-active.
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must have strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Must have strong technical background in medical devices.
Must have demonstrated ability in defining and launching new products.
Must possess at least a bachelors degree.
Must be able to travel at least 30%.
Technical background in stem cells, biology, engineering, and/or related field is a plus.
Experience and technical skills with interventional medicine techniques is a plus.
Medical and/or sales training is a plus.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
