About the position
EKU Housing & Residence life (HRL) is seeking THREE graduate assistants for the 2025-2026 academic year. These positions will assist in a variety of tasks necessary for the operation of HRL and the success of our campus residential communities. All three of these positions will work out of the HRL office in the Whitlock building and are supervised by an Associate Director of Housing and Residence Life.
Responsibilities
- Work within an assigned focus area within Housing and Residence Life to provide support and direction.
- Perform and support other areas of Housing and Residence Life as assigned.
- Attend various trainings and meetings as needed.
Requirements
- Unconditional acceptance into a graduate degree program at Eastern Kentucky University.
- Enroll in at least nine (9) credit hours per semester in a graduate degree program.
- Maintain a 3.0 GPA in coursework leading toward the completion of graduate degree.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess excellent computer skills (e.g., MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Skills in multi-tasking and the availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Possess excellent administrative skills.
