About the position

Boeing Digital Aviation Solutions (DAS) is looking for a Head of Marketing Operations to join the DAS Marketing team working in Englewood CO or Austin TX. The Head of Marketing Operations will lead the marketing operations function and is responsible for building and optimizing marketing-related processes, measurement, planning, technology, and data management, all in a quest for operational excellence. As the marketing operations leader, you will work with the CMO and marketing leadership team to improve perceptions of marketing’s role, the value it delivers to the business, and the return on marketing investment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, marketing strategy, and cross-functional collaboration, driving alignment across key stakeholders to achieve business goals, as well as experience driving new process and governance, and change management across organizations. This is a leadership role within a fast-moving marketing team and will directly contribute to the ability to achieve enterprise-wide targets, push boundaries in performance and strive to continually improve marketing’s visibility and relationships across the entire business.

Responsibilities

  • Build and develop relationships across the organization to influence business outcomes.
  • Act as a change agent to improve marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead teams through change management and process transformation initiatives.
  • Streamline marketing processes and implement best practices.
  • Increase efficiency and responsiveness and define new marketing operational strategies.
  • Quickly identify, assess, and resolve issues that serve as barriers so the team can operate at maximum effectiveness.
  • Build and lead a global marketing planning function, coordinating inputs to the marketing planning process.
  • Oversee the establishment and management of comprehensive project plans, milestones, and budgets.
  • Lead the budget strategy and manage the budget allocation and reconciliation process.
  • Provide insights-driven advice and consultation to the CMO and marketing leadership.
  • Design marketing measurement dashboards with support from BI team.
  • Develop executive-level reports to communicate marketing’s contribution to the business.
  • Lead marketing data strategy development and infrastructure deployment.
  • Manage Martech stack vendor relationships.

Requirements

  • Prior enterprise experience in Marketing Operations role.
  • Experience collaborating with and influencing sales, customers, and marketing leaders.
  • Proven success building, motivating and managing a high-performing, process-oriented team.
  • Expert-level proficiency in managing large-scale projects, including the rollout of technology applications.
  • Familiarity with the opportunity management process through the buyer’s entire journey and sales cycle.
  • An understanding of demand marketing and field marketing processes.
  • Experience with annual planning, forecasting, and budgeting.
