About the position

Join the Help at Home Team as a DSP in Canton, MI! We are seeking compassionate caregivers for full-time hours, Monday-Friday 10a-6p. Responsibilities

• Provide support to seniors living independently in their own homes through activities such as preparing meals, light housekeeping, and running errands.
• Assist with bathing and grooming, and accompany clients to appointments outside the home.
• Support clients with basic health care monitoring such as taking vital signs and assisting with medication reminders.
• Support activities of daily living including grooming, bathing, and light housekeeping.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation and auto insurance.
• Weekend availability.
• Recognition of the needs of others, and the ability to build relationships with people from different backgrounds.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to spend evenings and weekends caring for clients with dignity, patience, and compassion.
• Dedication to professional development including organizational and state-required training.
