Responsibilities

• Facilitation, communication, assessment, intervention, education, planning, and providing comprehensive nursing care for patients, families, and significant others
• Providing direct and indirect patient care and supervising others providing this care
• Communicating with multidisciplinary team members as appropriate about changes in a condition or response to treatment
• Performing general nursing duties in all departments with adequate direction or supervision
• Acting as a patient/customer advocate and a Redeemer Health representative, meeting the patient/family needs throughout the hospital experience
• Assisting in the development of new staff nurses and the future development of the nursing profession

Requirements

• Be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Be a Registered Nurse licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
• Have a BSN completed or attained within 3 years of hire
• Have 1 year of related nursing experience required for PRN
• Possess Specialty certification (IV skills, BLS certification, ACLS in specialty areas, etc.)
• Meet the certification requirements for ACLS, PALS, NRP, and fetal monitor certification
• Be available for alternate shift work
• Meet satisfactory completion of orientation and competency validation within probationary period
