About the position

The In House Vacation Sales Coordinator position is an in-person role located in NYC. This role pays a base wage of $16.50/hour with production pay, where the annual pay range (base wages + production pay) for MVC New York City M&S in 2024 is reasonably expected to be between $26,472 - $171,048. Additionally, there is a $2,000 Sign On Bonus, with $1,000 paid after successful completion of 45 days of employment and another $1,000 paid after six months of employment. Eligibility requires at least one year of experience in the timeshare industry. As an In House Marketing Coordinator, you will assist in providing our Owners/guests with experiences and events to create memorable vacation memories.

Responsibilities

  • Schedules sales presentations and manages customer expectations.
  • Provides the highest level of service to exceed budgeted sales presentations and volume production goals.
  • Ensures that all Owners and guests attending a sales presentation meet eligibility requirements and are open to learning more about products and services.
  • Uses persuasive techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty.
  • Welcomes and greets guests; anticipates and addresses their needs.
  • Interacts with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
  • Contributes to team goals.
  • Always follows company policies and safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Highly motivated with sales or customer service experience.
  • Enjoys interacting with guests either in person or by phone.
  • Available to work various shifts, holidays, and weekends.
  • Concierge and/or sales experience preferred.
  • Position may require background and drug screening, in accordance with state and local requirements.
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
