Responsibilities
- Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for infants
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that are created by national experts for you
- Ensure a safe and clean learning space
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
- Support children's individual learning needs and encourage their social and emotional growth
- Guide children through routines while promoting independence
- Partner with parents to ensure consistent care and development goals
- Support emotional development with kindness, structure, and encouragement
Requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Passion for nurturing and educating young children
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in a licensed childcare center
- CDA, Associate's, or higher degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
- Strong understanding of early childhood development
- Passion for nurturing young children and working as part of a collaborative team
