JOB SUMMARY : Provides support to the Talent Acquisition, Operations Department by interviewing applicants and interacting with hiring Managers. This includes identifying, screening, interviewing, and making job offers to applicants. Performs the necessary administrative responsibilities included throughout the hiring process as described below.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prescreens/interviews entry-level applicants to determine applicant status to include offering an entry-level position, forwarding for a second interview or informing the applicant that there is no interest. Presents job offers and completes the hire process in the on-line application system. Completes a new hire form with all relevant PeopleSoft data, job and contact information and assigns orientation dates. Verifies accurate completion of forms, informs new hire of orientation process and appearance guidelines. Directs new hire to fingerprint processing.
- Reviews on-line applications to help identify viable candidates. Assists with scheduling appointments via phone and email and follows-up on inquiries, etc.
- Represents Universal Orlando at on and off-site job fairs, expos, high schools and community events. Completes preparation and follow-up duties for events and actively participates in the event to include sharing available job information, encouraging application, interviewing and job offers.
- Assists with departmental projects, reporting, data analysis, department communication, and daily/weekly administrative tasks. This includes, but is not limited to, tasks for the Team Member Referral Program, department SOPs, Staffing Programs and other departmental projects as assigned.
SCOPE: An individual in this job must maintain confidential information on a regular basis while displaying a high degree of tact. The job requires regular decision making skills based on knowledge of park roles and responsibilities. This role does not have any direct reports
EDUCATION: High school degree or GED is required. Bachelorâs degree is preferred.
EXPERIENCE: One to three years in office environment, basic understanding of Human Resources functions required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Competent knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Team Members will stand for long periods, sit for long periods, have repetition of motion and use various forms of technology such as computers, phones, printers, and microphones.
