About the position

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Sales and Marketing Admin reporting to our VP of AV. This role requires a forward-thinking individual with exceptional communication, time management, and problem-solving skills. The Sales and Marketing Admin will be responsible for managing customer databases, strategic sales reporting, and department support tied to the execution of sales and channel objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support including scheduling meetings, expenses and prioritizing tasks for select team leaders
  • Schedule, organize, and prepare for meetings, including gathering materials, preparing agendas, and taking meeting minutes
  • Assist in planning partner events, industry events and monthly meetings
  • Track strategic sales initiatives and provide reporting in timely fashion
  • Manage, analyze and summarize weekly/monthly buying group and rep group data – create weekly updates for key stakeholders – act as liaison to ensure maximizing third party rep efficiency
  • Maintain records including customer and supplier to ensure accurate accounting for buying and rep groups
  • Support the execution of company initiatives by tracking project timelines, deliverables, and coordinating resources as needed
  • Draft, proofread, and edit correspondence, presentations, and other documents, ensuring accuracy and clarity including compiling presentations
  • Contact sales team members, internal operations, or the engagement teams to obtain missing information or answer queries
  • Shows ability to consistently recognize and deal with priorities based on department objectives
  • Capacity to anticipate the impact of the changing business environment and makes adjustments and recommendations

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Marketing, Sales and/or Executive Assistant or related administrative experience
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications – advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong organizational and critical thinking skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work successfully with leadership team and other key functional departments

Nice-to-haves

  • Intermediate skill level using SFDC
  • Experience with Analytical and Reporting software such as Power BI
  • Prior experience in the technology (specifically Smart Home/AV) or distribution industry is a plus
