About the position

As an Email Marketing Strategist at Milked Media, you will be a strategic leader with deep knowledge of email & SMS marketing, particularly in the e-commerce industry focusing on fashion, jewelry, and beauty. Your role will involve partnering directly with brands to understand their goals, communicate performance, and provide clear recommendations. You will oversee client onboarding, manage campaign execution, collaborate creatively, analyze performance, and maintain strong client communication. Your focus will be on scaling clients’ retention programs through personalized, data-driven communication that builds lasting customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee email account setup during onboarding and ensure all retention tools are properly integrated.
  • Manage pop-up forms, audience segmentation, copywriting, flow creation, and campaign launches.
  • Develop lifecycle targeting strategies informed by predictive analytics and client goals.
  • Draft creative briefs and partner with designers to bring campaigns to life.
  • Ensure flawless execution through proofreading and QA.
  • Pull and analyze KPI reports, share actionable insights, benchmark performance, and run ongoing tests to maximize results.
  • Act as a strategic extension of client teams, understanding their goals and managing calendars.
  • Conduct competitive research and present insights via email and Zoom calls.
  • Keep campaigns on track by meeting key milestones and aligning execution with strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in email marketing for e-commerce (agency experience preferred).
  • Proficiency in Klaviyo and strong understanding of ESPs, email design, and deliverability best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to create, implement, and optimize complex email programs aligned with client goals.
  • Hands-on A/B testing and analysis experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to use data, benchmarks, and competitive insights to make strategic decisions.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • High accuracy in execution and reporting with minimal supervision.
  • Positive, solutions-oriented attitude with the ability to thrive in fast-changing environments.
  • Resourceful and proactive in resolving challenges.
