About the position

Howell Allen Clinic serves 21 locations and has top surgeons that provide expert, compassionate care for complex brain & spine conditions. Patient-centered care with cutting-edge robotic spine & laser brain tumor surgery.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned staff in performing activities or tasks in support of physician practice operations.
• Lead or coordinate shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associates.
• Serve as a technical or functional resource and performs similar duties with staff.
• Assign, monitor, and review progress of work. Monitors and reports compliance with policies and/or procedures.
• Oversee and evaluate orientation and training of assigned associates. May provide input in the review and evaluation of staff performance.
• Inventory clinical supplies and place supply orders to maintain desired levels. Receive and organize the handling of medication samples.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Certified Medical Assistant obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Approved credentialing bodies include, but may not be limited to: American Medical Technologists, National Healthcare Assoc, National Center for Competency Testing, National Assoc for Health Professionals and American Assoc of Medical Assistants.
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
