About the position

Lyra is looking for a Lead Product Manager to support our In-Care experience for members, providers, and clinical managers. The ideal candidate is a strategic problem solver that is highly collaborative and able to synthesize input from many different cross-functional teams in articulating and executing a roadmap. This Lead PM will play a critical role in owning product planning and launches, partnering closely with Product (PM, Design), Engineering, Clinical Product & Operations, GTM teams and leadership to execute our product strategy and achieve our business goals. This role is highly visible and is crucial in ensuring that we execute at a high level across every facet of product management, development, and operations. This role will be located onsite at our Burlingame, CA headquarters (hybrid; 1-2 days per week in-office).

Responsibilities

  • Engage with providers, clinical and operation teams, legal, and GTM teams to understand jobs to be done, pain points and opportunities
  • Develop product (or non-product) plans that help achieve both short and longer term business objectives.
  • Define and deliver tools that empower our Clinical and Operations teams to be highly effective and efficient, while ensuring an excellent care experience for our clients.
  • Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to identify pain points and define strategies to drive platform scalability.
  • Own strategy and product roadmap by gathering input, evaluating opportunities, and prioritizing features according to our business goals.
  • Drive an excellent product development experience for the product/design/engineering team by writing concise documentation and engineering tickets, supporting the design process, running team rituals, and coordinating successful releases.
  • Define targets, track program metrics and effectively report out on program health to executive audiences and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Clinical and Operations teams to ensure a seamless transition from product development to product launch, while capturing feedback to further iterate on the product roadmap.
  • Identify and manage risks and issues that may impact the successful delivery of cross-functional initiatives and associated goals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and optimizing processes and methodologies.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in product management, or a related role in a software development environment
  • Demonstrated experience supporting clinical and operations teams; prior experience in mental or physical health building EHR or EMR products is a bonus
  • Highly organized self-starter who is able to problem solve and drive decisions; able to multitask and apply structure to ambiguous situations
  • Strong quantitative analytical skills and ability to think strategically and tactically to solve problems and drive results while operating in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
  • Curiosity and passion to learn more about your users, our market, our product, the competitive landscape, and much more
  • Demonstrated leadership and strong, proactive ownership over one's area of responsibility; has an innate sense of accountability, attention to detail, and an execution-oriented mindset
  • Ability and willingness to mentor junior team members
