Lead Product Manager, Valuations

About the position

As a Lead Product Manager at Carta, you will build core components of Carta’s ERP to help funds perform valuations and manage their portfolio companies. You will be part of a team that is focused on creating a suite of products for private equity (PE) and venture capital (VC) firms, aimed at enhancing the strategic impact of fund CFOs. Your role will involve solving complex problems such as building a robust valuation tool for PE and Growth funds, developing fund workflows in an AI-first world, and creating a delightful user experience for complex modeling tools. You will work cross-functionally to integrate different nodes of Carta’s ERP, ensuring a differentiated experience for customers.

Responsibilities

• Build a robust valuation tool for PE and Growth funds to power all their valuations.
• Develop fund workflows in an AI-first world.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in product management, owning and launching products that deliver real customer value.
• Natural curiosity about private capital markets and a desire to learn about new and complex topics.
• Ability to break down complex processes and systems into simple models.
• Experience partnering with business leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ownership of initiatives from inception to delivery.
