Our IET team provides industry-leading products and services that optimize the extraction, production and processing of energy. The Gas Services team works with some of the largest customers in the industry. The Lead Engineer is a key role working with compressors customers though both individual and team assignments. The successful candidate will bring technical expertise into centrifugal compressor and other related equipment operations. Will be part of the team strengthening relationship with critical functions.

Responsibilities

  • Applying technical and business knowledge regarding compressors to ensure successful outcomes for projects
  • Working with cross-functional and cross-discipline internal and external teams
  • Applying system engineering methodologies such as requirements definition, system architecture and integration, analyses, configuration management, and risk management in the design phase of products
  • Being recognized as an SME in centrifugal compressors to support others with both business and technical mentoring/coaching

Requirements

  • Have a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar, Master degree preferred
  • Have 7+ years of industry experience working with centrifugal compressors
  • Have experience with vibration analysis, rotor dynamic analysis, compressor balance of plant/Auxiliaries and general compressor performance
  • Six Sigma certification of Green Belt or higher
  • Be able to travel as needed about 10% to visit customers
