Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Lead Software Engineer in Chandler, AZ. Job Role and Responsibility: Lead complex business and technology initiatives for the commercial banking department of the company. Act as a key resource person in engineering organization-wide standards and best practices for complex and large-scale implementations leveraging industry standards, disciplines and design patterns, covering both functional and non-functional requirements. Design, code, test, debug, and provide engineering specification document for various projects and initiatives. Research, evaluate and provide recommendations on new technologies and trends to leadership/management that are deemed necessary for new initiatives. Collaborate and consult with peer subject matter experts, and external industry partners to resolve complex technical problems and achieve goals. Lead the delivery of projects and mentor teammates. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address. Travel required: 0% Required Qualifications: Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, or related technical field plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving software engineering experience. Specific skills required: 5 years of experience in frontend/web development using React JS/JSX/TypeScript; 5 years of experience in web development using Node.js as platform; 5 years of experience in developing test coverages using React test-library, Jest, enzyme and the like; 3 years of experience or exposure in Representational State Transfer (REST) Application Program Interface (API) development using any backend framework; 3 years of experience in accessibility and responsiveness development and testing; and 3 years of experience in lead position.
