Responsibilities
- Serve as tech lead inside cross-functional product teams
- Work with technology leadership and senior team members to design and implement solutions
- Develop tools and applications to support business operations
- Coach other developers to help deliver novel, effective solutions
- Review, comment and provide feedback to teammates
- Analyze, debug and fix defects
- Provide post-release software and application support
- Identify and influence standard procedures, ensuring other engineers contribute and follow those same standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other relevant engineering field or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a professional environment
- Thorough understanding of relational databases such as SQL Server, MSSQL, MySQL or similar technologies
- DB2/400 preferred
- SSRS and SSIS experience
- Knowledge working closely with Git
- Understanding of industry standard system architecture and system management tools
- Good attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Flexible and willing to provide support when and where needed
- Capable of managing multiple efforts with time related constraints in a fast-paced environment
- Experience as a team lead is preferred
