The position involves collaborating with the CMM team, Process Team, Operators, and functional area personnel (e.g., Maintenance) in coordinating all tasks related to maintenance, facilities, and continuous improvement in the CMM area.

Responsibilities

  • Support Processes, Equipment, and Facilities
  • Assist in the development/review of work plans for facilities and manufacturing equipment and their Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Job Plans.
  • Act as the main liaison between CMM and Maintenance.
  • Provide feedback to Process Engineers and/or Reliability on the review of spare parts and consumables inventory levels.
  • Assist in the development and review of safety procedures, equipment operation, and shutdown coordination.
  • Generate work permits and ensure plans for equipment interruptions are in place.
  • Support the execution of qualifications and validations in the area.
  • Influence the generation and execution of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance plans.
  • Generate work orders required by CMM and ensure they are completed following necessary procedures.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with established requirements.
  • Participate actively in CMM meetings to provide necessary support.
  • Plan and coordinate operational, maintenance, and project activities to avoid interruptions.
  • Assist in the purchase of materials and equipment as required.
  • Participate in meetings with service suppliers as required.
  • Continuous Improvement in Manufacturing Processes
  • Report CMM performance metrics.
  • Stay updated and communicate improvements made in the area.
  • Support the implementation of capital projects.
  • Assist and/or support productivity projects (i.e., Lean, 5S, efficiency) as required.
  • Motivate operations personnel to provide suggestions for areas to improve.
  • Ensure compliance with Business Systems (Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety).
  • Contribute to compliance and follow-up on recommendations from inspections.
  • Inspect areas from health, safety, and quality perspectives.
  • Support the implementation of action plans related to events and/or trends.
  • Act as custodian of the C-Seguro system for CMM.
  • Support the implementation of change management.
  • Communicate deviations from regulations or processes to supervision.
  • Ensure facilities are inspection-ready at all times.
  • Participate in safety team meetings as required.
  • Lead the Dispatch Housekeeping Team.
  • Participate in the generation and/or review of procedures, records, controlled forms, etc.
  • Personnel Development
  • Complete assigned training for the position.
  • Apply knowledge gained from training.
  • Participate in training others as necessary.
  • Develop specialized knowledge in manufacturing equipment and processes.
  • Process Safety Program Responsibilities
  • Comply with process safety procedures and provide feedback.
  • Notify the supervisor of any situation that may affect safety.
  • Report all process safety events or spills.
  • Support established PSM procedures for the area.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree, preferably in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in CMM or Manufacturing, including experience in coordinating tasks across multiple functions.
