About The Position

Burrow Global is seeking to hire an experienced Level II Piping designer for a 12 month assignment in Beaumont, TX. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience as a Piping Designer. Experience with Autocad / Cadworx is preferred. Candidates will be required to go to the field and perform walkdowns to take field notes, measurements and create field sketches in order to generate layouts and isometric. Experience with concrete foundations and structural steel design is needed for process piping and equipment placement. Candidates for this position must be able to identify design issues and make suggestions for changes. Candidates must have a solid understand piping specifications, routing / layout plan, isometrics w/bill of materials. This position will work with 2-d and 3d drawings. Candidates will be responsible for creating P&ID's, working with As-built drawings, updating key plans, general routing layouts and isometrics. Candidates must have 3d modeling experience. Candidates for this position should have experience developing engineering packages needed for construction. Additional duties will involve checking on the status of the construction progress and answer questions as they arise. Experience with MOC’s is not required but a plus. Experience supporting plant engineering and plant maintenance is needed.

Requirements
