Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and execute automated lifecycle marketing programs to engage leads, onboard new customers, and drive retention.
  • Leverage marketing automation, AI and CRM tools to create tailored messaging sequences and workflows.
  • Ensure timely, relevant, and personalized communications across email, in-product, SMS, and other digital touchpoints.
  • Implement data-driven segmentation strategies to ensure targeted messaging that resonates with different customer personas and accounts for different ways our customers use our platform.
  • Use behavioral triggers, demographics, and engagement insights to optimize campaign effectiveness.
  • Partner with partner marketing, product marketing, sales and customer success to align lifecycle marketing initiatives with business goals and broader marketing initiatives.
  • Engage with Business Intelligence and Rev Ops teams to identify opportunities where marketing comms can help smooth the customer journey and solve for leaks in the funnel.
  • Work with content and design teams to develop compelling messaging and creative assets.
  • Monitor key performance metrics (e.g., open rates, conversion rates, churn, engagement scores) to assess campaign effectiveness.
  • Conduct A/B testing and iterate on campaigns to improve engagement and conversion rates.
  • Leverage data to provide insights and recommendations for refining lifecycle strategies.
  • Understand and report on campaign impact on key business metrics such as advisor registrations and account activations.
  • Manage marketing automation tools (we use HubSpot) and AI BDR to build and refine customer journeys leveraging data from Salesforce and 6sense.
  • Build complementary journeys within our platform using Pendo.
  • Stay up to date on lifecycle marketing best practices and emerging technologies to enhance campaign execution.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, or marketing automation.
  • Proven track record of building and optimizing multi-channel customer journeys.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation tools, CRM platforms, AI BDR and measurement tools (we use HubSpot, Salesforce, Pendo, 6sense and Dreamdata). Considered a technical expert.
  • Strong understanding of segmentation, personalization, and behavioral marketing strategies.
  • Bonus points: Experience working in fintech, SaaS, or B2B marketing, ideally within a highly regulated industry.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills with experience analyzing marketing performance metrics and connecting them back to business growth.
  • Familiar with customer journey mapping; ability to translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and align stakeholders on lifecycle marketing initiatives.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Accustomed to working within nimble, flexible environments, with an appetite to fail fast and pivot when necessary.
  • Thrives in cultures where no one says, 'That’s not my job.'
