About the position

The Social & Influencer Marketing Specialist will drive brand awareness and customer engagement across owned social media and offline marketing channels as the primary lead for creator and influencer partnership marketing programs. This position will be the primary point of contact for internal partners, agencies, and the experiential marketing team. This individual will help drive innovation, share new ideas, and identify better ways to engage new and existing customers across branded content development. The role will work in close collaboration with marketing discipline leads across marketing strategy, operations, omnichannel media, analytics, and creative. Our marketing organization is rapidly evolving and integrating new functions. This is an opportunity to help build a brand's social and influencer marketing practice at Leaf Home.

Responsibilities

  • Support the organization in the development of the Company's social media strategy and event marketing/offline marketing strategy and content for Leaf Home Bath.
  • Execute on the creation of compelling, innovative, and engaging content across various owned social channels to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and customer loyalty.
  • Oversee the management and optimization of Leaf Home Bath's social media channels, including content creation, scheduling, tracking, and content calendar creation and implementation.
  • Access a broad network of talent, agencies, studios, production companies, digital publishers, creator groups and networks, to produce breakthrough storytelling.
  • Strong negotiation to achieve highest and best value exchange between client and influencer.
  • Track and analyze KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of social and influencer initiatives and campaigns as it ties back to revenue generation and shared voice.
  • Report insights to senior leadership, including successes, challenges, and recommended optimizations.
  • Demonstrates a solid understanding of the role of paid, owned, and earned media in an integrated marketing plan and how a robust influencer strategy best fit into it.
  • Translates and predicts trends to help shape current and future strategies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience.
  • Understanding of paid/owned/earned social landscape.
  • Current knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in brand marketing, influencer, and social media space.
  • Experience utilizing social media and influencer management tools and ability to partner closely with growth marketing teams on their performance metrics.
  • Experience negotiating creator and influencer agreements and developing creator briefs.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to connect brand and product storytelling ideas with practical implementation and execution.
  • Ability to juggle various work activities and shift their attention from one task to another to meet the demands of different stakeholders without 'dropping the ball.'
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment and have a 'roll up your sleeves' and 'win every day' mentality.
  • Hold oneself accountable and responsible while being self-driven in accomplishing goals.
  • Detail-oriented and can focus on task at hand by finding the most efficient and effective pathway to completion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels to communicate with internal and external stakeholders articulately.
  • Ability to logically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work, solve complex problems, and engage in reflection.
  • Ability to provide timely and empathetic service through all communication channels keeping peer and customer needs first.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
