About the position

We’re always looking for diverse, talented, service-oriented people to join our exceptional team. The Manager, Credit Card Portfolio (Manager, Product Development) will oversee the entire credit card portfolio lifecycle, including strategic planning, market research, understanding Member needs, introducing and improving products and experiences, and optimizing usage, all focusing on delivering Member value and market competitiveness. This role involves managing the P&L for the credit card portfolio, ensuring growth and efficiency, and defining and executing on a comprehensive credit card product line vision and strategy that meets the evolving needs of Members and differentiates SchoolsFirst FCU in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire credit card portfolio lifecycle.
  • Manage P&L for the credit card portfolio.
  • Define and execute on comprehensive credit card product line vision and strategy.
  • Own end-to-end Member journeys for credit card experience.
  • Manage the performance of the credit card portfolio.
  • Monitor key financial metrics including revenues, expenses, and net interest margins.
  • Tailor credit card value proposition to different Member segments.
  • Lead the design and delivery of seamless and engaging Member experiences.
  • Collaborate with the digital team to streamline online journeys.
  • Navigate the complexities of the credit card market landscape.
  • Communicate the SchoolsFirst FCU credit card product value proposition.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team for targeted campaigns.
  • Set and drive key performance indicators (KPIs) for credit cards.
  • Manage relationships with key vendors and partners.
  • Collaborate with finance team on pricing strategies.
  • Manage ongoing market research and competitive analyses.
  • Drive emerging credit card payment innovations.
  • Analyze market trends, Member behavior, and card portfolio performance.
  • Monitor and manage risks within the card portfolio.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • 7-10 years of previous related experience required.
  • 3-5 years of previous management experience.
