About the position

CCM is looking for a highly driven, results-oriented, Manager of Marketing & Communications. Reporting to the SVP, Sales and Marketing, this position is responsible for marketing, advertising and promotional initiatives. The Manager of Marketing and Communications is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and communication plans to enhance the company's brand, promote chassis management services, and support sales objectives. This role will lead efforts to engage clients and drive demand in all aspects of the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to increase brand awareness.
  • Oversee the company's brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels, including digital, print, and trade show materials.
  • Create compelling content to highlight the company's expertise in chassis management (e.g., PowerPoint Presentations).
  • Manage digital campaigns, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media (e.g., LinkedIn, industry platforms).
  • Lead internal and external communications, including press releases, newsletters, and client updates, to promote company achievements and industry leadership.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to inform marketing strategies, particularly in the Southeast US and in response to trade shifts.
  • Plan and execute trade shows, industry conferences, and client events to showcase services and build relationships.
  • Partner with the sales team to develop targeted campaigns that support lead generation, client retention, and expansion into new markets.
  • Manage the marketing and communications budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and measurable ROI on campaigns.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (e.g., lead generation, website traffic, campaign engagement) to optimize marketing efforts and align with business goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing or business communications
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working in a marketing role
  • Prior experience in all aspects of developing and managing marketing strategies
  • Technical marketing skills
  • Proven experience in customer and market research
  • Highly proficient in web-based applications
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to work independent at times, with sound decision-making abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working in the transportation industry is preferred
