About the position

MOBIS Technical Center of North America is the Research & Development Center for Hyundai MOBIS, a Tier 1 supplier and an affiliate under Hyundai Motor Group. MOBIS produces and supplies a wide variety of automotive components to customers including component modules (chassis, cockpit and front-end module), core system, eco-friendly and DAS-mechatronics. Mobis delivers the design and development of advanced engineering, autonomous driving, infotainment, component modules, safety, brake and steering systems, lamp, ICS/electronics and software development solutions that consider the safety and convenience of our customers as well as the future.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic advisor to the Regional President, Key Account Executives, and Global OE Business leadership product teams on key initiatives, business directions, and planning matters.
  • Lead internal planning functions including annual business planning, mid- to long-term sales volume forecasting, and strategic goal setting in alignment with HQ.
  • Oversee communication with HQ in Korea, managing the flow of critical updates, requests, and deliverables (e.g., corporate reporting, strategy alignment, new business directions).
  • Organize and operate key internal meetings (e.g., business review meetings, executive briefings, cross-functional coordination sessions).
  • Lead or support marketing initiatives targeting global OE customers - including customer events, supplier conferences, and promotional activities.
  • Develop high-impact presentations, reports, and executive-level briefings to support internal decision-making and external communications.
  • Supervise and mentor team members (marketing, admin, strategy, communication with HQ), ensuring efficient workflow and professional development.
  • Serve as a cross-functional liaison, coordinating with Sales, Program Management, Engineering, and HQ stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Automotive/Manufacturing work experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and cross-culturally in a matrixed organization.
  • Be highly proficient with computer technologies including but not limited to Windows and XP Operating systems, computer networking with the use of Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
  • Strong project management skills and experience handling multiple high-priority initiatives.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Be a team player.
  • Have great attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be reliable (with reliable mode of transportation).

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual fluency in Korean and English - spoken and written.
  • Experience in a Korean-headquartered global company or similar cross-cultural setting.
  • Prior experience interacting with senior executives or supporting C-level decision-making.
  • Familiarity with OEM/Tier 1 global customer engagement and product lifecycle planning.
