About the position

The Manager, Patient Marketing is a key member of the brand team and will be responsible for executing patient marketing initiatives for disease state and branded education. This role will work cross-functionally with Patient Advocacy, Market Access, Corporate Communications, Compliance, Business Analytics, external vendors, advocacy groups and Patient Ambassadors to deploy impactful tactics supporting patient and caregiver initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the Associate Director, Patient Marketing to assist in the development and rollout of personal and non-personal promotion for patient audiences
  • Execute digital marketing campaigns, including website, video, email, podcast, and paid media
  • Support planning and management of live and virtual patient-facing events, including content development, speaker coordination, and platform logistics
  • Collaborate and build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, external partners, and Patient Ambassadors to create patient education content
  • Consistently establish detailed project briefs and timelines and manage projects to ensure timelines and strategic objectives are met
  • Effectively partner with medical, legal, regulatory, and compliance to successfully steer projects through the promotional review process
  • Steer contracts through tiering and approvals process
  • Track monthly budgets with variance explanations for owned projects
  • Support brand planning and other strategic initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, or related experience
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience within a US commercial organization
  • Experience in hematology oncology and/or rare disease preferred
  • Launch experience a plus
  • Familiarity using Veeva PromoMats strongly preferred
  • Experience developing creative briefs and ability to provide direction to ensure projects are completed on-time, on-budget, and on-strategy
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines with competing priorities
  • Experience supporting live and/or virtual speaker events a plus
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong business acumen skills, organization and project management skills
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical legal and regulatory landscape
  • Strong sense of professionalism, accountability, and urgency; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to think creatively and problem-solve
  • Requires travel, up to 30%
