About the position

Elastic is seeking a Regional Marketing Manager - SLED (State, Local & Education) to create and execute targeted marketing programs to grow and accelerate our SLED business. Programs typically include virtual and live campaigns, third-party partner conferences, content syndication and account-specific programs. You will wake up each morning eager to build, drive, plan, and implement extraordinary marketing programs, targeting prospects and existing customers, as well as contribute to the success of the sales team's pipeline goals. This role will involve daily interaction with the field sales team, requiring an understanding of SLED buying behavior and how it maps to Elastic’s overall go-to-market strategy. You will collaborate with teams across several departments while hosting and running your own programs to precision.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (partner marketing, sales & solution architecture, finance, operations, event, product, digital, regional, and campaign marketing) to build and lead Go-To-Market (GTM) programs with partners across SLED.
  • Help deliver impactful campaigns and events and explore new tactics and channels.
  • Set metrics and goals for all programs and ensure measurements are trackable.
  • Support the analysis and reporting of the programs and campaign goals.
  • Lead multiple projects at the same time, ensuring they’re all on time and on budget.
  • Provide administrative support by opening POs, supervising the budget, and managing MDF reimbursements.
  • Create regional programs to meet demand generation goals, including field events, account-based marketing, executive programs, and trade shows.
  • Drive demand creation and lead generation activity in developing qualified sales leads and crafting brand awareness activities.
  • Measure and analyze the impact of programs on sales cycles; give updates to weekly reports and monthly dashboards to demonstrate campaign progress and region success.
  • Coordinate presentation content with other program key collaborators across all departments to generate event content and agendas.
  • Supply ideas and feedback to new content creation with a distributed marketing team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in regional or field marketing with a focus on the SLED market.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools such as Salesforce, Splash, Marketo, Monday.com, and other similar programs.
  • Creativity and ability to think of new programs that can scale to many users.
  • A ‘let's-do-this’ attitude and passion for driving projects to completion.
  • Organization and an eye for detail.
  • Proficiency working in Google apps like Gmail, Google Slides, Docs and Sheets.
  • Highly collaborative but can work independently while flexible to a dynamic scaling technology business.
  • An ambitious, yet humble approach.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay based on the work you do here and not your previous salary.
  • Health coverage for you and your family in many locations.
  • Ability to craft your calendar with flexible locations and schedules for many roles.
  • Generous number of vacation days each year.
  • Increase your impact - We match up to $2000 (or local currency equivalent) for financial donations and service.
  • Up to 40 hours each year to use toward volunteer projects you love.
  • Embracing parenthood with a minimum of 16 weeks of parental leave.
