About the position

The Segment Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and materials tailored to key customer segments, including, but not limited to, payors, brokers, employers, providers, and third-party administrators (TPAs). This role plays a critical part in driving targeted campaigns, supporting go-to-market efforts, and aligning segment marketing initiatives with revenue goals. The ideal candidate is a collaborative marketer with strong industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering impactful, segment-specific marketing programs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute segment-specific marketing plans that support business objectives and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Segment Marketing Manager to align strategies with broader marketing and organizational goals.
  • Build a deep understanding of customer needs, market dynamics, and competitive trends across assigned segments.
  • Create compelling marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, case studies, whitepapers, and digital content tailored to each segment.
  • Support the design and execution of targeted campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Partner with Growth, Innovation and Solution Lifecycle, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment of messaging and positioning.
  • Work with Growth Enablement to support training and tools that enhance segment-specific selling and positioning.
  • Monitor campaign performance and segment engagement, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Contribute to reporting on segment marketing performance and share findings with senior leadership.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of marketing experience in healthcare or related industries, with exposure to payor, broker, employer, provider, or TPA segments.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • Demonstrated success in executing segment-specific marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Required licensures, professional certifications, and/or Board certifications as applicable.
