About the position

At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. This role will be based in Mountain View, San Francisco Bay Area, or New York. We are looking for a strategic, data-driven leader with deep analytical expertise to join our Strategic Finance team as a Manager supporting LinkedIn's Marketing Solutions business (LMS). In this new role, you will primarily lead our Data Science partnership, focused on enhancing our ads marketplace understanding through sophisticated frameworks and analyses. You’ll help the team better answer critical questions like: How does engagement drive monetization? How do ROI improvements impact revenue? What is the incremental value of product adoption? You’ll also develop frameworks to measure incrementality, forecast and explain metric variances, and ensure teams are accountable for achieving their goals. Additionally, you will lead our R&D Portfolio Allocation efforts - tracking, analyzing, and providing recommendations on our investment portfolio across the LMS business. You'll develop frameworks to evaluate investment ROI, provide visibility into resource allocation, and connect portfolio decisions to our long-range planning. You'll collaborate with R&D leadership while influencing cross-functional stakeholders to drive strategic decisions through data-backed insights. We're seeking someone who can confidently share and challenge points of view with senior stakeholders, engage deeply with technical partners on complex data projects, and effectively translate between technical and business contexts. You'll develop executive-ready narratives that shape investment priorities and growth strategies while maintaining credibility across both Data Science and business teams. The ideal candidate combines exceptional analytical rigor, strategic vision, technical curiosity, and excellent stakeholder management skills to help accelerate sustainable growth for LinkedIn's ads business.
