About the position

Legend Biotech is seeking a Manager, Talent Acquisition, Marketing & Early Talent as part of the Talent Acquisition team based in Somerset, NJ. We are seeking a strategic and innovative Manager, Talent Acquisition, Marketing & Early Talent to lead and drive our global early talent initiatives and employer branding strategies. This role will be responsible for shaping a consistent global early talent program across the US, EU, and China, ensuring alignment with business needs and workforce planning efforts. With a strong focus on high-potential hires from top-tier universities, particularly in scientific and R&D disciplines, this role will develop talent pipelines through internships, co-ops, and leadership/rotation programs. Additionally, this person will oversee talent acquisition marketing to strengthen our employer brand and attract world-class talent. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking talent acquisition professional with expertise in campus recruitment, global talent strategies, and recruitment marketing, who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage a global early talent strategy and programs that creates consistency across the US, EU, and China tailored to regional business needs and leveraging best practices.
  • Work closely with the Global HR LT and business to translate business goals into actionable early talent initiatives.
  • Partner with Global Head of HR, business, and workforce planning teams to align early talent hiring with long-term talent needs.
  • Design and execute global employer branding campaigns to position the company as an employer of choice for top-tier talent.
  • Create compelling content strategies for recruitment (videos, employee testimonials, blogs) to enhance talent attraction.
  • Develop and execute campus recruitment marketing plans, including university events, career fairs, and online engagement strategies.
  • Oversee and enhance internship, co-op programs, and other early talent programs, ensuring alignment with business priorities and conversion into full-time roles.
  • Foster strong relationships with target universities to drive a steady pipeline of high-potential candidates and establish partnerships with university research labs, career centers, and faculty members to deepen engagement and talent attraction.
  • Oversee digital recruitment marketing strategies, including social media, career site enhancements, and job advertising.
  • Manage relationships with external branding partners, agencies, and platforms to maximize reach and impact.
  • Measure and analyze recruitment marketing effectiveness using data-driven insights to optimize campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain reporting dashboards to track early talent hiring, program success, conversion rates, and branding effectiveness.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in talent acquisition and marketing to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Human Resources.
  • Minimum 5+ years in Talent Acquisition, Early Talent/University Recruitment, or Recruitment Marketing, with experience in a global environment.
  • Strong understanding of early talent programs and university partnerships within biotech, pharma, or life sciences.
  • Experience working with multi-regional teams and managing global TA programs preferred.
  • Experience in employer branding, digital marketing, and recruitment advertising.
  • Ability to analyze hiring trends, program success, and marketing effectiveness to refine strategies.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain partnerships with business, universities, internal stakeholders, and external vendors.
