About the position

The Marketing Manager of Health Care Provider (HCP) Promotion for XTANDI will be a key member of the brand team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing HCP promotional programs based on market knowledge, customer insights, and brand strategy. This person is responsible for strategic development and flawless execution of promotional tactics. This colleague is responsible for ensuring and modelling strong cross-functional alignment in the Brands@Center Operating Model and ensuring execution with key partners, especially other members of the brand team, Market Access, CI, Sales, CL&D, Regulatory, Legal, Medical Affairs, and agencies. Provides strategic input on key brand building opportunities. Serves as primary marketing contact with field team to support and enhance promotional activities and materials. Specific responsibilities will evolve based on the lifecycle of the brand and competencies required on specific projects.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the tactical development of HCP focused programs to overcome business obstacles, drive market share, and achieve sales targets.
  • Serves as the primary marketer responsible for field direction, communication, and training on brand strategy, competitive events, and product milestones.
  • Collaborates closely with the sales field team to enhance marketing programs and execution.
  • Lead marketer for the effective execution of the XTANDI free trial program.
  • Ensure that materials and programs are highly effective and compliant by owning projects and gaining approval through the Medical, Legal and Regulatory review process.
  • Manage outside agencies in HCP tactical planning, project estimate development, time management, budgeting, and execution of projects.
  • Contribute to the annual brand and tactical plan for HCP promotion.
  • Complete work in an ethical and compliant manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of related, relevant experience (i.e., marketing, sales, sales training, market research, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of US market dynamics, regulatory influences, compliance constraints, and market access
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to proactively manage competing priorities
  • Strong written communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to influence without direct authority
  • Ability to present and discuss complex issues to higher level management
  • Ability to create, implement and iterate impactful action plans
  • Experience owning projects through the Medical, Legal and Regulatory review process, preferably for a partnered product
  • Ability to travel up to 30%

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA degree or other related graduate-level degree
  • Oncology or experience in a specialty field such as Urology
  • Pharmaceutical sales/account management experience
  • Experience working in a partnership / co-promotion
  • Experience in support of launching new data
