Manufacturing Associate

About the position

The Manufacturing Associate position involves safely operating machinery, reading factory orders, and accurately reading gauges and other test equipment. The role requires utilizing basic shop math, inspecting and setting up orders, and completing quality and administrative document checks. Additionally, the associate will be responsible for cleaning up functions around the machinery, including blowing down machines, cleaning ink systems, and managing scrap materials.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating machinery
• Reading factory orders
• Accurately reading gauges, tape measurer and other test equipment
• Utilizing basic shop math, inspecting and setting up orders
• Carrying tooling to machinery
• Completing quality and administrative document checks
• Performing clean-up functions such as blowing down the machine and cleaning ink systems
• Counting and stacking finished product

Requirements

• Ability to read factory orders
• Understanding of housekeeping standards
• Basic shop math skills
• Ability to use counting tools
