About the position

The position involves formulating a placement strategy by leveraging substantial risk expertise and knowledge of the industry and carriers to develop solutions that address challenging client needs. The role requires devising a go-to-market strategy, advocating for the value of the placement function, and participating in the pricing of services as applicable. Additionally, the position entails instructing the submission of coverage specifications and obtaining quotes from carriers based on the 'assist, advise, and assume' transaction model. The individual will consult with client executives and teams to support client retention and new business production, while also inspecting the binding of coverage and ensuring the accuracy of placement binders. Building and driving relationships with practice, insurance markets, clients, carriers, and/or underwriters is essential to provide cohesive client service. A detailed understanding of changing insurance and risk management market conditions is necessary to inform client executives, advisors, and clients of major developments affecting various types of products and coverage. The role also includes leading complex placement and technical support activities on large accounts, ensuring procedural compliance, reviewing data, updating annual renewal exhibits, and maintaining accurate placement system entries to ensure contract execution as required. Furthermore, the individual will consult management on complex client issues or trends through clear and concise communication and participate in the development of solutions.
