About the position

Resource Innovations is seeking an experienced Marketing Account Lead to support our Energy Efficiency and Demand Response Programs on our growing team. In this role, you will lead in managing project tasks, developing creative ways to engage utility customers and encourage participation in programs, and work closely with our marketing, program and outreach teams, helping to execute marketing plans and campaigns that reach diverse customer groups. As a Marketing Account Lead you’ll support Energy Efficiency and Demand Response utility programs, gaining hands-on experience in large commercial and industrial, and residential, efforts. In close collaboration with the Marketing Principal, engineering and a team of other marketing, communications and graphic design professionals, you’ll develop project plans and lead daily tasks to keep marketing plans and tactical calendars on track. Success in this role requires strong client management skills, attention to detail, organization and project management experience. You’ll also play a key role in planning and managing events—such as presentations, webinars and kickoff events—and in compiling data for post-event reports. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years marketing experience. Agency experience is preferred. A Marketing Account Lead is equivalent to a Senior Account Executive title. Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the Seamless Delivery of Work: Acts as day-to-day resource for customers to facilitate seamless programs and campaigns and can comfortably articulate all facets of the program and work
  • Manage Project Tasks: Is responsible for tracking project milestones, deadlines, and deliverables, helping to ensure timely completion of marketing initiatives in project management system.
  • Production of Marketing Materials: Works with the marketing, engineering and program teams to coordinate the production of marketing materials, monitoring the status of deliverables for assigned projects.
  • Event Coordination: Provide logistical and remote & on-site support for events, such as webinars, presentations, and case study video shoots, ensuring a smooth and successful experience for those involved.
  • Assist with Data and Reporting: Help compile and organize data related to campaigns and events, preparing reports in Excel or data visualizations to track and measure marketing activities and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, contributing to cross-functional projects and ensuring alignment on marketing activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BBA, BA, or BS) in Marketing, Graphic Design, Business, Communications, or a related field/equivalent experience required
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, project management, client management, or related fields
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook/Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive)
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize new tools and technologies, including project management and email marketing platforms (experience with Wrike and Campaign Monitor or similar systems is a plus)
  • Experience leading client meetings and providing status reports
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
