About the position

The Marketing and Community Outreach Manager is responsible for promoting Stokes Counseling Services by generating new referrals for the organization. You will support our Program Managers by participating in community marketing activities and working to establish strong relationships with new and existing referral sources. The preferred candidate will be professional, polished, an excellent communicator, a quick learner, empathetic, compassionate, and technically savvy with a passion for supporting clients in our communities and desire to make a difference in the lives of others. This role is a critical part of building and nurturing our extensive network of community contacts to promote Stokes Counseling Services reputation as the preferred mental health provider to the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Clinical Leadership and Program Managers to discuss their goals and priorities and how you can support them
  • Acquire and manage existing and new partnerships, providing insights into your progress against mutually agreed upon goals
  • Drive our strategy and execution for industry conferences and community events
  • Regularly attend daytime and evening marketing and networking events to enhance the visibility of our agency in the community and generate new relationships and business opportunities
  • Establish and nurture professional relationships with staff at each of our office locations
  • Maintain ongoing communication with the facilities, senior care professionals, and our staff about our referral clients
  • Identify and internally publicize organizations for Stokes to partner with or which could be a resource to our clinicians or team members
  • Respond promptly to all service inquiries from referral partners
  • Assist in the completion of special projects as assigned by Executive Leadership
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a business, marketing or healthcare focus preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience in community marketing/sales preferred
  • Experience working within Behavioral Healthcare preferred
  • Must have exceptional communication, interpersonal and writing skills
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and insurance coverage
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet deadlines
  • Ability to travel throughout Connecticut ~20% of the time and work out of one of our offices ~2 days a week
